Every channel is a solid-state high-side switch with its own current measurement, PWM control and protection. Four channels are rated for 20 amps and four for 10 amps. Run a single PDU standalone from its digital inputs, or put up to eight units on one CAN bus and command the power of the whole vehicle from your ECU or switch panel.
Running an AEM PDU-8, or planned your wiring around one? The Current PDU is a drop-in replacement in both form and function. It matches the footprint and connections of the PDU-8 and works in its place out of the box, at almost half the price.
It does more, too. On a newer, higher-quality hardware design, you also get PWM control on every output, a standalone input mode with configurable trigger logic, per-channel current monitoring over CAN and USB, free desktop configuration software for macOS, Windows and Linux, and firmware updates in the field.
Eight solid-state high-side outputs replace fuses and relays: four channels rated at 20 amps and four at 10 amps.
Every channel reports its current draw in real time, so you can see what each circuit pulls, in the Configurator or over CAN.
Drive each channel with PWM at a configurable 100–1000 Hz for dimming and reduced-power operation, not only on/off switching.
Command channels and read status over CAN at 125K to 1M baud, with up to eight PDUs on one bus. A public DBC file is provided.
No CAN required. Eight digital inputs drive channels directly, with configurable trigger logic, enable and disable delays, and pulse timing.
Sustained overcurrent shuts a channel down, a short circuit trips at once, and a hardware watchdog turns every output off if anything goes wrong.
PDU Configurator is a free desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Connect over USB to set up channels, CAN and input triggers, watch the current draw of every output in real time, and install firmware updates, all from one place.

The easiest way to update is from PDU Configurator, which installs firmware over USB. This image is for manual installs and recovery: the USB bootloader flashes the .bin file.
